"LOVE & HIP HOP ATLANTA" CAST 'TURN UP' AT SEASON 2 PRESS RECEPTION

Last night, over 300 Atlanta press and industry insiders got a celebrity-filled sneak preview of the Season 2 premiere episode of VH1's " Love & Hip Hop Atlanta ." Guests packed Cream Ultra Lounge to get a glimpse of the attending cast which included Stevie J, Joseline Hernandez, Mimi Faust, Erica Dixon, Rasheeda Frost, Kirk Frost, Shay Johnson, Momma Dee, Benzino , Mingnon Dixon and newcomers Traci Steele, Babey Drew and Che Mack . Executive producer Mona Scott-Young welcomed the crowd, adding that season 2 is just as thrilling as the first one. BOSSIP senior editor Janee Bolden moderated the cast Q&A, while DJ Fadelf kept the crowd moving throughout the night. OMG GIRLZ RECEIVE NAACP OUTSTANDING NEW ARTIST NOMINATION

Star, Beauty, and Baby Doll R&B girl group, The OMG Girlz have been nominated for Outstanding New Artist at the 44 th NAACP Image Awards. The announcement serves as the perfect ending to a rousing year for the Atlanta based trio. Known by their stage names—Star, Beauty, and Baby Doll—the ladies of OMG (Officially Miss Guided) have rapidly been taking the music world by storm, bringing with them a legion of teen fans. Keeping the ball rolling, The OMG Girlz virally released the holiday single, “I Love Christmas”. The 44 th NAACP Image Awards will be held in Beverly Hills, CA and will air on February 1, 2012 on NBC.
