On her hit crime drama Person of Interest, Taraji (Detective Carter) is used to being on top of all the technology used to track down a criminal. While the series is written as a traditional crime drama, the technology used by ex CIA operatives Emerson and Caviezel to identify persons of interest is all real – from surveillance cameras that now occupy street corners in major cities, to smart phones and tablets with GPS trackers noting your location at all times, to government-run satellites that can listen in on your phone conversations.
