Disco Diva Donna Summer Dead at 63

Donna Summer was the Queen of Disco in the 1970s with a fusion of pop,dance and a rock sound that greyed the lines of music. It wasn't one genre, it was just good music.

Summer died today after battling cancer. Born LaDonna Adrian Gaines,the five time Grammy winner was at home in Florida at the time of her death. She is survived by husband, Brooklyn Dreams co-founder Bruce Sudano and their two children.

Donna Summer is favorably known for '70s hits like "Hot Stuff," "Bad Girls" and "Love to Love You Baby."
