A3C Partners with Center for Civic Innovation to Create A3C Action

A3C is proud to announce a partnership with Atlanta’s Center for Civic Innovation (CCI) called A3C Action that aims to find, support, and invest in new, innovative ideas that use art, music & hip-hop culture as a vehicle to advance social justice and civic engagement in under-served communities. The two organizations will select five ideas from around the country, and those ideas will be pitched at the 11th annual A3C Festival & Conference in Atlanta from October 7-11.

On Sunday, October 11, A3C attendees will have the ability to vote for their favorite ideas at A3C’s annual Best Block Party Ever. A portion of the A3C Action funds will be distributed based upon audience vote.

“We have always tried to be a positive force in the hip-hop community by providing an opportunity for artists and influencers from all over the world to connect, build and learn.” says Mike Walbert (A3C Director). “A3C has become a highly regarded institution in the hip-hop community and that is a responsibility our team does not take lightly.  As we enter our 11th annual A3C Festival & Conference we are very excited to formally announce our partnership with the Center for Civic Innovation.  A3C Action is the culmination of many year of planning, and we look forward to creating something special together.”
