The line between genius and insanity can be razor thin. At least that’s Catherine’s fear. An untrained prodigy, she’s inherited her mathematician father’s brilliance and tries to come to grips with her other possible inheritance: his madness. Now, with her emotional safe haven gone, Catherine is forced to come face to face with her own brilliant abilities, and in the process, makes a stunning confession that could quite literally turn the world upside down.

Ex-cop “Pops” Washington is doing his best to hold onto his dignity and one of the last great rent stabilized apartments in Manhattan. Pops has his hands full with his ex-con son Junior and a steady stream of sketchy houseguests, while he sweats out the impending verdict on his law suit against the NYPD. A celebration of the paradoxes of human nature, this rowdy dark comedy exposes the slippery landscape of justice, family, and the grit it takes to move on.
