Creative Artists Agency a prominent entertainment and sports agency headquartered in Los Angeles has taken on Chris Tucker on as a client.
Tucker, who had been previously repsrented by the William Morris agency, is finally returning to film after a five year hiatus to co-star with Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro in “The Silver Linings Playbook,” due out this fall.
Tucker started his career as a successful stand-up comedian who transistioned into film. He's notably famous for his role as Smoky in the Ice Cube produced film "Friday" but gained crossover appeal co-starring (and often times upstaging) with Jackie Chan in the uber successful “Rush Hour” franchise and ultimately making upwards of $20 million against 20% of the gross. The three “Rush Hour” films grossed more than $800 million worldwide.
Tucker’s currently on a U.S. comedy tour.
