Melanie Fiona is happy to officially announce the release of her sophomore album, THE MF LIFE. The Grammy Award winning singer and songwriter will release her highly anticipated sophomore album for Universal Republic Records/Title 9/SRC THE MF LIFE on March 20, 2012. THE MF LIFE stays true to Melanie’s honesty in her music, songwriting and depth. The album features production from Salaam Remi (Amy Winehouse), No ID (Kanye West, JAY Z, Rihanna), and Andrea Martin (Melanie Fiona’s #1 hit, “It Kills Me”), as well as guest appearances from NAS, John Legend, B.o.B, and J. Cole, and writing from Drake. The album’s current single. “4 AM” has over 4 million views on VEVO and sets the perfect tone for Melanie’s newest musical offering.
“My fans are loyal and genuine and they're definitely in it for the music. I’m sticking to my motto of making good music. I just want to get out there and share my music with people," stated Melanie Fiona.
"She has a muscular voice but still manages a bright tone, making her equally convincing whether she’s getting bruised or doing the bruising." - New York Times
