Michael Clark Duncan On the Mend After Heart Attack

Michael Clarke Duncan is in stable condition and on the mend after suffering a heart attack, the "Green Mile" actor's publicist told TheWrap.

"According to doctors, Michael Clarke Duncan suffered a myocardial infarction early this morning," a spokeswoman for the actor said. "He is now stable and we look forward to his full recovery."

Local media reports that Duncan, 54, was found in a state of cardiac arrest by his girlfriend, "The Apprentice" vet Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth. Omarosa discovered Duncan's condition slightly before 2 a.m. revived him by administering CPR.

Duncan, most recently starred as Leo Knox in the Fox series "The Finder," which was canceled in May.

"The Finder" creator Hart Hanson tweeted Friday afternoon that he visited Duncan, who was in the company of his girlfriend and his former "Finder" co-star Geoff Stults.

"I just left MCD and @OMAROSA and @geoffstults at the hospital. MCD is a mighty spirit. Beam him your good thoughts for a quick recovery!" Hanson wrote.

Duncan starred in a public service announcement for the American Stroke Association to raise awareness of strokes.
