Where can you go at 3am to get a hot meal that hasn’t been
sitting under a heat lamp, see Big Foot and hear a drag queen sing the gospel?
The Waffle Palace!
Now showing at Horizon Theatre in Atlanta’s Little 5 Points
neighborhood, this raucous comedy boasts some of the most outrageous tales one
could ever concoct from a personal experience. Taken from stories people have
told of their trips to Waffle House restaurants, no one story is the same or ‘normal’
so it has to be true.
At the Waffle Palace in Atlanta, proprietor John Pickett and
his graveyard crew fight to keep the doors open when developers push to shut
them down. Almost anything goes in the Waffle Palace except for throwing
Waffles and under-tipping. And please NEVER ask for pancakes!
The Waffle Palace will be showing at Horizon Theatre through
March 17th. Tickets and performance times vary. Go to
horizontheatre.com to get your tickets. Group rates are also available.
