Back in July, Denzel and his wife Pauletta took some time off to 'turn up'. At 59, he apparently still has a lot of 'get-on-up' about him. The two took a month-long vacation on a private yacht that was apparently fueled with indulgences inclusive of massive amounts of alcohol and an all you can eat buffet!
No stranger to detoxing, this time Denzel reportedly checked into a luxe-filled detox facility for two weeks after the well deserved hiatus.
According to TMZ.com, "This was more than just alcohol...it was an overall cleanse for toxins." That could be code for sun exposure, bad food, alcohol, sleep deprivation and the list can go on.
Sources also claim, the A-lister also enlisted the assistance of a nutritionist, personal chef and a trainer to get him back in lady-loving shape. We need that.
Apparently, Denzel often goes cold turkey on the extras when he's embarking on a big project. So let's hope his next project is a banger.
