The auto-biographical reenactment of Wilson's life will be told in a one man show starring Eugene Lee (The Women of Brewster Place). How I Learned What I Learned, originally performed by the playwright himself at Seattle Rep in 2003, is Wilson's life through a monologue that shares a glimpse into where the characters in Wilson's critically acclaimed Century Cycle came from..The life and upbringing of the two time Pulitzer Prize winner is exposed though his stories and we see how Pittsburgh's Hill District and the politics, history, and personalities infused throughout this neighborhood influenced his world view long before the pen met the paper.
Part history, part art, and all storytelling, this one man show is not to be missed.
