This is Tavaris Slade.
He's a Firefighter who's served the Atlanta community for almost 10
years. His fire engine crashed on Monday, April 13, while en route to an
emergency call. Four firefighters were injured, but Tavaris spent
several days in ICU with multiple fractures that will leave him out of
work and in rehab for almost a year! He is a dedicated father to a
10-year-old son and a soon-to-be husband. A fund has been set up to help defray costs not covered under disability income.

Firefighters
put their lives on the line daily to protect and care for our
neighborhoods. It is a small sacrifice to donate for those who proudly
make the ultimate sacrifice for us every day. Please donate what (and if) you can. THANK YOU SO MUCH IN ADVANCE!
