Summer fun is coming to OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network with the series premiere of the new Evelyn Lozada docu-series "Livin' Lozada" on Saturday, July 11 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, followed by the return of the popular OWN docu-series "Flex & Shanice" at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

"Livin' Lozada" follows the lives of Evelyn Lozada, of "Basketball Wives" fame, and her 21-year-old daughter Shaniece. Evelyn has moved on from the heartache of her highly publicized divorce in a big way. She is engaged to big league baseball player Carl Crawford and the happy couple have a one-year-old son, Leo.  Between learning to be a mom all over again, setting up a new home in Los Angeles for her and her family, working on getting the sequel to her first book published, as well as dealing with issues surrounding her family back East...Evelyn has a lot going on!

Not to be outdone, her daughter Shaniece, has a blossoming modeling career and is working on starting her own bikini line, looking to her mom for advice which she (sometimes) takes.  Each episode is filled with close friends and relatives in the ladies' lives who help round out a world filled with laughter, support and encouragement as we follow Shaniece carving out the new life before her and Evelyn moving on from her past and embracing the new life she has found.

The series is produced by Shed Media (part of the unscripted/alternative television department at Warner Bros.), with Pam Healey, John Hesling, Lisa Shannon, Russ Heldt and Evelyn Lozada as executive producers.

 Flex & Shanice

"Flex & Shanice" follows the lives of husband and wife duo, actor Flex Alexander ("One on One"), Grammy-nominated singer Shanice ("I Love Your Smile") and their extended family all living together under one roof. From the outside looking in, Flex and Shanice are living the dream - they are beautiful celebrities with a long-standing marriage, gorgeous kids and a lovely home in suburbia.  But what this fairytale couple has been hiding from the world is that they have been struggling financially for the past five years, so they moved their hilarious extended family in to help make ends meet.

As the couple often says, "We're not where we want to be, but we're not where we used to be," and viewers will see just that in the second season. But nine people under one roof can add just as much stress as it relieves. And while Flex builds on his acting and stand-up careers with the release of his graphic novel, Shanice hustles to convince a Grammy-nominated producer to EP her new album while raising two precocious kids. This family is just trying to hold it together for long enough to capture that one big break that could turn their luck around.

"Flex & Shanice" is produced by Lynch-Dyson Entertainment.  Executive producers are Jeff Dyson, Vernon Lynch, Julie Pizzi and Patty Ivins.

The new single is part of Jermaine Dupri's upcoming EP and new partnership with Empire

It was a marriage that never should have ended, but now they're back where they belong.....

So So Def, lead by CEO and founder Jermaine 'JD' Dupri, recently closed a deal with independent music label/distributor/publisher EMPIRE for the release of JD's upcoming EP. The project's first single is titled "WYA (Where You At?)" featuring Bow Wow. This long awaited reunion has finally come breathe!

"Feels like I had him as my son, actually," Jermaine Dupri tell Billboard of his long-time protege Bow Wow.
"In the past, me and Jermaine's working process was different than it is now," Bow Wow tells Billboard. "How we work now is how I always wanted us to work. I think the whole time, Jermaine just wanted me to grow as an artist and get experience. Now, years down the line, it's incredible when we work with each other." Incredible enough that the rapper just left Birdman's Cash Money Records (where he had been signed since 2009) to focus on working exclusively with Dupri and Snoop Dogg.

Listen here:

Since the separation from JD, Bow Wow has grown up in the public eye. Starting his career in rapping since the age of 5, he's also found success as an acor with his starring role in CBS's CSI: Cyber, as an entrepreneur with the launch of his spirits brand NDI Vodka and expansion of the clothing line Asphalt Yacht Club as Brand Ambassador. As for his music, he is now collaborating with Jermaine Dupri and Snoop Dogg on new records to come. The first of the many is So So Def's "WYA (Where You At?)" single which is now available on all digital music outlets including iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, and Spotify. Expect a video soon, for now check out the premiere of "WYA (Where You At?)" on Billboard.

WE tv's New Explosive Original Series, Cutting It: In the ATL
Premieres TONIGHT at 10pm ET/PT

Atlanta is home to some of America's most talented, daring and in-demand hair stylists and, at the top, competition is the most cutthroat. Meet the women of Cutting It: In the ATL:
Beautii, "Countess of Class" and owner of Spoiled Opulence Salon, worked hard to be on top of her game. The once homeless single mother is no stranger to this competitive business and will do whatever it takes to take them all down by storm; by treating every client like a celebrity
Dedra, "The Commander-In-Chic," and fiercely opinionated owner of J'Doah Salon, sees her salon as a 'hidden gem' but is envious of more established owners like Maja, Beautii, and Mushiya.  In an attempt to keep up with the competition, Dedra hires LaKenya, a former employee of Beautii's to broaden her services and clientele. LaKenya is hoping that J'Doah is her last stop before owning her own business.

Mushiya, "The Natural Boss" and owner of The Damn Salon - THE premiere place to go for natural hair in the ATL -has a flare for the dramatic and it shows in every aspect of her life.  Her beauty, unique look, and mere presence are enough to quiet any room she enters and her distaste for chemically enhanced or processed hair is no secret.
Maja, "The Minister of Weaves," burst into the ATL hair scene by changing the playing field with Walk-In Weave Salons - the quick and affordable weave salon. This business savvy, no-nonsense salon owner has her eye on the prize and plans to soak up every last dollar Atlanta has to offer.

....and the Next Ultimate Mad DJ is.....DJ YOUNG MUSIC

DJ Young Music

DJ Young Music, who was recently crowned “Live Nation/Scream Nation Mad DJ of the DMV,” is unsurprisingly the youngest in the field of seasoned party starters set to travel to Hotlanta, as he takes part in an exclusive national competition, “The Ultimate Mad DJ”  crown. Hosted by DJ Nabs of BOOM 102.9 Classic Hip Hop, the high energy throwback battle will showcase twelve semi-finalists from various parts of the country to compete among a circle of DJs at the hallowed Tabernacle in Atlanta, GA on Friday, June 19.

One of the most anticipated events of the year, the competition will work to determine “The Ultimate Mad DJ.”

“He’s used the lessons he has learned from being around other deejays and took his talent to the next level,”  says Tony Redz, Host – WPGC 95.5.

DJ Young has already been featured as a guest DJ on Sway In The Morning, earn a deal with eOne Distribution as the youngest artist to sign a worldwide music, film and soundtrack, release a top 3 hit single “Right Here” (ft. Frank Benz and Da-Rai), and moved over 250,000 units independently on his own label, DYMG Entertainment – all before he walks the stage as a graduating high school senior this summer. #kudos #education

Regardless of the outcome at Tabernacle, DJ Young Music, a triple threat deejay, songwriter and producer, will join 107.9’s 20th Annual Birthday Bash festivities the very next day when he blesses the turntables, before performing his hit single “Right Here” (ft. DYMG artists Frank Benz and Da-Rai) at Philips Arena.

Here's a lil' sumtim from DJ Young Music.....

Janet Jackson Announces New Album, Tour

Janet Jackson Announces New Album, Tour - Janet Jackson delivered a surprise for fans on her birthday, announcing a new album and world tour.

The singer made the big reveal at midnight eastern time on May 16 by tweeting a link to a video in which, in her unmistakable voice, she coos: “I promised you’d hear it from my lips and now you will. This year: new music; new world tour; a new movement. I’ve been listening. Let’s keep the conversation going.”

Presumably the title to the album, or perhaps a first single, the tweet was accompanied with the message “My Conversation” and the hashtag "Conversations In A Cafe.“

The 49-year-old Jackson’s last studio album – her tenth, called Discipline – was released in 2008 by Island. It was followed by the collection Number Ones a year later.

News of her return set the Internet abuzz as devotees reacted. At least one longtime collaborator, producer Jimmy Jam, had been dropping mysterious hints in the hours leading up to Jackson’s tweet.
