A Letter from Tyler…and Madea

So we all know this Friday (February 20th) is the kickoff weekend of Madea Goes to Jail and even my dad is anticipating a good time at the movies and he could care less about anything at the theatre.

So with all the promotional hype this movie is getting, people still wonder if Tyler can do it again. For real, they haven’t realized he’s got the Midas touch after all the blockbusters he’s sold out? Well, sometimes we have to toot our own horns every once in a while and even Tyler had a good time at the theatre.

As part of the masses who receive the emails from Tyler Perry, I've enjoyed his lamenting on the viewing of Madea Goes to Jail and guess what, he loved it!

“I hope you are ready to hurt yourself laughing. I’m telling you, I acted a fool in this one. Madea is on TEN!” says TP

But don’t just take his word for it go and see for yourself. Before you do, a few words from Madea:

Hellrr,

Aurm, can you come down to County and put twenty dollas on my book. Girl I
been fightin' since I got in this place. They got women in this place with
prostates...LOL. Antyway, come see me in MADEA GOES TO JAIL. The big house
will never be the same...you’ll see.

Signed,

MADEARRRR...

Everybody Still Loves Chris

Actor and funny man Chris Tucker ended 2008 with good cheer and charitable giving. He’s starting 2009 off on a good note as well. He’s being acknowledged and awarded for all of his contributions to the entertainment industry at the 2008 Trumpet Awards.

Crunk Magazine caught up with the actor/comedian at his Chris Tucker Foundation gift giving event and for the fourth year in a row, Chris and his Chris Tucker Foundation made surprise visits to eager Atlanta underprivileged children all hoping to have something to open for Christmas. He never disappoints.

The foundation provided a host of games, toys and hi-tech entertainment for all to enjoy. Children took home portable CD players, dolls and Easy Bake ovens, while others took home MP3 players, toy soldiers and much more. No child went home empty handed.

Many would think that with so many of the children being so young, they may not know about Chris Tucker the actor and comedian. This wasn’t a concern for Chris, “I love being around kids. You can see the innocence in them. They might not know who I am, but some of them do. It’s not about them knowing me, but them having a good time…There’s nothing more important during this holiday season than giving to those in need and making a positive impact in someone’s life.”
