BlackCelebrityGiving.Com Launches National Cause Campaign To Benefit Homeless Children With Celebrity Ambassador Toya Wright

BlackCelebrityGiving.com announces there 2013 Spring Cause Campaign Titled The Giving Boutique

BlackCelebrityGiving.com has a mission of servicing homeless teens, tween, and in betweens while their aim is to raise exposure and resources to aide homeless families on a national scale. Of course tying in celebutante Toya Wright (mother-wife-philanthropist) as the 2013 ambassador, BlackCelebrityGiving.com will launch a sixty day used clothing drive that will lead up to The Giving Boutique pop up store experience which will service homeless families.

"At BCG, we have dedicated months to developing our Spring Cause Campaign The Giving Boutique which focuses efforts on raising needed resources for homeless youth. We interviewed several homeless families specifically with teens and learned that receiving donations in garbage bags or grocery bags made them feel hopeless and unwanted. Upon this realization, The Giving Boutique was born. We thought how cool would it be if BCG could give these families and teens a real shopping experience, where items were not thrown on tables or in trash bags, but actually hung up, color coordinated, washed and even new," stated BGC Founder Jasmine Crowe.

The Giving Boutique’s challenge will be to collect new and gently used clothes at partnering on-site locations.

BCG's Giving Boutique will provide a shopping experience that is unparalleled to anything these homeless families have ever experienced before. They will be able to shop in a boutique pop-up shop with amenities including: food and beverage, friendly staff, fitting rooms, furniture and the overall boutique shopping aesthetic. The Giving Boutique will also feature an accessories counter, and a soap shop filled with donated items from beauty and hair brands. While the youth and their families shop, The Giving Boutique will play live music and provide tons of goodies creating an atmosphere filled with happiness as they shop to their hearts desire.

All items will be completely free of charge.

For more information on drop off locations or how to donate please visit http://www.blackcelebritygiving.com/Giving-Boutique/

Nene and Greg Make It Official Again...On Bravo

NeNe and ex-husband Greg are now engaged! To one another....again! So, for a second time Gregg Leakes will take Nene in holy matrimony but the whole thing willl be for all the world to see on Nene's new Bravo spin-off show,  "I Dream of Nene: The Wedding" (working title).

"The Leakes are ready to tie the knot once again in an extravagant wedding fit for a larger-than-life personality like NeNe," Bravo said in a statement describing the series.
What can one expect from another reality wedding? I don't think it'll be royal-esque and considering Nene and her style it should be nothing short of a wild and fun trip down the aisle with NeNe. They've also enlisted the talents of celebrity wedding planner Tiffany Cook.

We expect their to be a bit of drama. OK  a lot of drama. Nene is one who doesn't forget her friends, no matter how controversial. That being said, Nene's rumored to have recruited "The Real Housewives of Atlanta's" Cynthia Bailey and Marlo Hampton (who briefly appeared on the Bravo series) to be part of her bridal party. Bravo also teased that "'Housewives galore and the Hollywood elite" will be in attendance for NeNe and Gregg's big day.
"I Dream of Nene: The Wedding" tackles more than just the wedding. Nene is closing a lot of gaps and mending fences in her life.  In addition to planning her big day, she will also repair the strained relationship with Gregg's children and reunite with her father figure Curtis during the series.
On Twitter, NeNe wrote, "Greg & I hope 2 inspire others 2 save their marriage."
"I Dream of Nene: The Wedding" is slated to air on Bravo this fall. Hopefully this union will last longer than Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries' 72-day union (btw, Kim and Kris are officially divorced as of today). This is after all their second time around.

Best Man Holiday...COMING SOON

LL Cool J New Music is Not for Teenagers...."It's Mature...."

10 Closer ft MonicaLast year veteran rapper LL Cool J put us on notice that he'd be dropping his 13th studio album sometime soon. As promised aptly titled Authentic  is just what it sounds like.

"It's mature. I'm not pandering to chase teenagers. They're welcome to listen to it, but it's really a record for their parents . . . But it's for their parents who know the words to 'Rapper's Delight,' know the words to 'The Message,' know my songs, know my music."

He just released the new track 'Closer' with another veteran in the music biz, Monica. The two sound like old money, rich and never depreciating in value.

Authentic comes feature-heavy with an array of eccentricities such as Fitz and The Tantrums, Eddie Van Halen, Snoop Dogg, Fatman Scoop, Seal, Charlie Wilson, Melody Thornton, Earth, Wind & Fire, Bootsy Collins, Travis Barker, Chuck D, Tom Morello, Z-Trip, Mickey Shiloh, Monica and Brad Paisley. This is the first album by the hip hop heart throb since 2008 and the first of LL Cool J's work not being released by Def Jam, the rapper's label since his 1985 smash 'Radio', and is instead put out by S-BRO Music., Rovi.

Take a listen.....

Authentic can be preordered on itunes today. The album is set to release on April 30th.

Kelly, Beyonce and Michelle.....again?

When Kelly Rowland began making noise about Talk A Good Game, her upcoming album, she mentioned former bandmates Bey and Michelle would co-pilot one of her songs. She didn't say what it was until now. The song is called "You Changed" and was produced by Harmony Samuels.

“I actually have collaborated with my sisters Michelle and BeyoncĂ© for this album,” she told Radio.com. “It’s a great record and our voices sound so great on this record, I am so excited for people to hear it.”

Listen to her gush about the song....

Talk A Good Game is slated to drop on June 4th. The album consists of super-hit "Ice" (ft. Lil Wayne) and a collaboration with Wiz Khalifa. However, its not done so she may pull another rabbit out the hat.

Beyonce & Houston Royalty on I Been On Remix

 photo tumblr_m8q7obp9Jd1qickbho1_500_zpsb8732905.jpg

Its roll call and Bey calls your name you acknowledge your presence.

That's what happened when Beyonce remixed her song I Been On with H Town representing....hard!

Although Jay Z's wife hasn't used a Houston address in quite some time, she still makes it crystal clear that she's reps H Town. On the remix, she extended her southern hospitality when she issued a roll call to fellow Texas royalty to blaze the track of I Been On. She got co-signs from Z-Ro, Scarface, Willie D, Slim Thug, Lil Keke and Bun B.
The crew tooke their turn with the second half of southern-heavy track–dripped, draped, chopped & screwed style.

Credit goes to Screw for the down south sound of the track. Listeners are still suffering whiplash from the double take on the shocking sound eminating from the speakers. The sound isn't the norm outside the southern borders, let alone from Bey...but that's the point.

Beyonce, Andre 3000 Re-Team for Amy Winehouse Cover

The last time we saw Bey and Andre 3000 collaborate was on the "4" album single Party.

Beyonce is reportedly teaming up with Andre 3000 again to record a popular Amy Winehouse track for the soundtrack to Baz Luhrmann’s upcoming big screen adaptation of “The Great Gatsby,” starring Leonardo DiCaprio.

The two are said to be covering the late singer’s 2007 hit “Back to Black” for the movie soundtrack that Beyonce’s husband Jay Z is overseeing. Notably, Jay Z was an early fan of the late singer as well and spoke publicly about his respect for her music.

"The Great Gatsby" is due in theaters next month

Idris Elba Stars in a Commercial for the First Time: The Toyota Avalon

idris elba (for avalon)Idris Elba is the new face of Toyota’s new, restyled 2013 Avalon.

The sexy British actor is the star of a new commercial campaign for Toyota’s newly designed automobile. And the role is kind of new for him.

“I’ve never done a commercial before,” said Elba. “It was a really good experience, lots of great shots and it’s a great car.”

“The guys are looking for me but they don’t recognize my car, because it does not look like an Avalon,” explained Elba.

Elba calls the Avalon, with its new look, “affordable luxury.”

Idris was chosen by Burrell Advertising because of his cool demeanor and image that’s equally attractive to both male and female consumers.

“My favorite part of the campaign is doing all of the amazing stunts,” he said.

Sounds like a fun action short. In fact it is just that.

Check it out for yourself in this behind the scenes video of the shoot:

Chris Brown Talks New Song Fine China and Riri

On X, Chris pays homage to Quincy Jones by saying he followed his blueprint in the studio by meshing varying artists and producers to get the desired results.
